(6) The High Commissioner may make rules for the purpose of prescribing the form of any summons or warrant to be issued in consequence of this section and generally to enable the provisions of this section to be carried into effect.
119. (1) The Chief Police Officer or any police officer not Power to below the rank of Assistant Commissioner specially authorised by compound. name in that behalf by the Resident by notification in the Gazette may in his discretion compound any such offence against this Enactment or against any rule made under this Enactment as may be prescribed as being an offence which may be compounded by collecting from the person reasonably suspected of having committed the same a sum of money not exceeding twenty dollars.
(2) No licence shall be endorsed suspended or cancelled by reason of any offence compounded under this section.
(3) The High Commissioner may make rules to prescribe the offences which may be compounded and the method and proce- dure by which such offences may be compounded under this section.

120. (1) Every police officer when acting against any person under this Enactment shall if not in uniform on demand declare his office and produce to the person against whom he is acting. such identification card as the Commissioner of Police may card. direct to be carried by police officers.
(2) It shall not be an offence for any person to refuse to comply with any request demand or order made by any police officer not in uniform who refuses to declare his office and produce his identification card on demand being made by such
person.

121. When any person is convicted of any criminal offence Licensing and it comes to the knowledge of the Court that such person is to be in- the holder of a public service vehicle licence road service licence carrier's licence or of a licence issued under section 90 the Court shall forthwith send particulars of such conviction and of any sentence passed thereon to the licensing authority.

122. (1) The High Commissioner may make rules for General prescribing the language and script in which any traffic sign as to rules. notice record application return or other documents shall be written and may make rules for any purpose for which rules may be made under this Enactment and for prescribing anything which may be prescribed under this Enactment and generally for the purpose of carrying this Enactment into effect. I
(2) All rules made under this Enactment shall be laid before. the Federal Council at the first meeting thereof after the publica- tion of such rules in the Gazette.
